Helix Day Service

On Friday 5th December, Santa’s Sleigh lights up Verwood to raise funds for Helix Day Service— a place where adults with learning disabilities grow in confidence, creativity and independence.

Helix delivers daily activities including art, cooking, music, gardening and vital life-skills workshops. Every session encourages personal development, builds friendships and gives members the freedom to express themselves in a safe, supportive environment.

The staff and volunteers pour heart and dedication into every interaction. They champion each person’s individuality, celebrate achievements and create a space where everyone feels respected and valued.
