New Forest Young Carers

On Wednesday 10th December, Santa’s Sleigh visits Burley & Bransgore to support New Forest Young Carers — a charity standing beside young people who take on extraordinary caring responsibilities at home.

These young carers may help a parent with mobility issues, support a sibling with additional needs or manage household responsibilities most people never see. Despite everything, they show resilience, kindness and maturity far beyond their years.

New Forest Young Carers gives them space to breathe. They organise activity days, fun trips, mentoring groups and emotional support sessions — all designed to help young carers relax, make friends and regain a little of the childhood they often sacrifice.
