When Santa’s Sleigh arrives in Fordingbridge & Alderholt on Wednesday 3rd December, your donations will directly support Avon Valley Community Matters (AVCM) — a charity that strengthens our local community every single day.

AVCM runs playgroups, holiday activities, bereavement support, and the much-loved Friendship Group, giving people of all ages space to meet, socialise and feel valued. Their volunteers work actively throughout the year to combat loneliness, support families and provide practical help wherever it’s needed.

Their High Street charity shop doesn’t just raise funds — it acts as a safe, welcoming hub where conversations start, friendships form and people receive support during difficult times.
