The motto of Round Table is “Adopt. Adapt. Improve” – Tonight the lads from Ringwood & Verwood Round Table (Plus a few friends) held our first Zoom meeting, and embodied that motto. We Adopted new technology to Adapt to our current lockdown circumstances, and we’re certainly going to have to Improve how we run it next time!
In spite of the challenges, what tonight’s meeting, and the last 2 weeks of Lockdown, have shown us is that Ringwood & Verwood Round Table is more than a social club, or an excuse for the boys to get together for a beer. Tonight we voted in our official Chairman & a new Vice-Chairman, and began planning some exciting things for the next few months, with or without a lockdown!
