Last night some of the team had an awesome night at The CRYPT Escape Room in Fordingbridge, racing against the clock (and the spooky surroundings) to solve a series of tricky puzzles to get themselves out of a locked room! Rising to the challenge, the boys had to use all of their teamwork & thinking skills to puzzle their way out of the dark & creepy crypt, emerging into the light in time to take 5th place on their leader board!
Over the last 2 weekends, our intrepid members have been braving wind, rain, flooding and aggressively crispy Christmas Trees as we collected over 150 Christmas Trees as part of our annual Tree-Cycling event. All £1650 of the profits going to support the life-saving work of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
This morning saw the culmination of a lot of planning and shopping for Ringwood & District Round Table as some of our members put the finishing touches to 25 Christmas Day Hampers to be delivered to local households in need this Christmas!
In Ringwood, a woman facing aggressive breast cancer needs emotional support during treatment. A fundraiser aims to provide a high-quality wig to boost her confidence as she undergoes chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Donations and community support are encouraged to help her feel strong and dignified during this challenging time.
We usually skip black-tie dinners, but we made an exception for Ringwood 41 Club’s 60th Anniversary at the Connaught Hotel. Our Chairman Charlie, past Chair Francis, and President Phil enjoyed a nostalgic night, shared stories, and donated £200 to “My Name is Doddie” charity. Celebrating friendships and community spirit is always inspiring.
During Mental Health Awareness Week, the Ringwood & District Round Table reinforces its role as a supportive network for young men, promoting mental well-being through fellowship, physical activity, skill learning, community service, and mindfulness. It provides a wholesome environment to combat loneliness and stress, fostering friendships and resilience among members. The club invites new members to join and participate in creating a robust community.
