As a local community group, our focus is to put something back into our local community, and this has never been more so that at the moment.  In view of the current COVID-19 Pandemic, it seems clear that local children aren’t going to be able to go out & have fun Trick or Treating this Halloween, or at least certainly not in the same way as usual. Rather than allow this to spoil all of the fun of the event, we have decided to hold the first Great Round Table Halloween Competition.  Within the event, we’re holding a couple of halloween-themed competitions that we wanted to draw attention to.  The first is the Best Dressed Front Door, and the other is the Best Carved Pumpkin.

The Best Dressed Front Door

Sponsored by The London Tavern in Poulner, we’re asking for photo’s of peoples front doors/front of their houses all dressed up for Halloween!  The spookier the better, we want to see cobwebs, cauldrons & things that go bump in the night.  Top prize is a Family Sunday Lunch at the London Tavern, with the Runners Up receiving a £20 Voucher to go towards a meal at the pub.

The Best Carved Pumpkin

Proudly sponsored by Letchers Solicitors in Ringwood , we’ve got prizes on offer for the best Carved Pumpkin!  There are 2 age groups – Under 10s & Over 10s, with the Winner of each category receiving a £40 Amazon Voucher, and the Runner-Up getting one for £25.  We want to see the children’s creativity on display, with our judges looking forward to seeing some hauntingly brilliant carvings!

How to Enter

To enter either competition, please email a photo through to us at hello@ringwoodroundtable.co.uk or via Facebook or Instragam.. For the Best Dressed Front Door, please include your name & address, and for the Best Carved Pumpkin please include your name & age, along with a selfie with your pumpkin. Entries must be received by midnight on Halloween (Saturday 30th November). We’ll try to share all of the entries on our Facebook & Instagram channels, and will announce the winners on Sunday 1st November.
